Security Devices is a specialist manufacturer of

Humanitarian Demining

We are located in Zimbabwe, a country surrounded by some of the most heavily mined nations in the world, and have been successfully manufacturing demining Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for fourteen years. Our customers include governments, United Nations projects, Special Forces, international demining NGOs, commercial demining companies and research institutions. We have also provided two leading European equipment suppliers with armour and visors badged with their names for many years. When possible, we will try to make what you want, modifying PPE, etc. We are versatile and have even made dummy mines for a GICHD test when asked.

Some of our equipment was designed by AVS, some by MIT and some is designed in-house. We are happy to design on an ad-hoc basis to meet specific customer requirements. With ongoing research and development and constant customer contact, we introduce additional products and services as required.

All PPE offered for sale has been user- and blast-tested and has proven itself in the field. Our testing regime and blast-testing record is unique.
